Responsibilities are as follows:
1. Overseeing the Bangkok Water Management Center in accordance with the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
2. Collecting data on flood prevention systems in Bangkok area. Supporting information for government executives and related organizations for apply in water management of Bangkok and Vicinity.
3. Create and maintain a geographical and information management system to be the center for development and control of the Drainage and Sewerage Department IT system.
4. Apply mathematical models to analyze hydraulic behavior for the planning of flood protection and mitigation
5. Planning, controlling, inspection and operation of Bangkok weather radar
6. Planning, controlling, inspection and development of computer system and telemetry measuring equipment
7. Inspection and maintenance the level of evidence pins and water level poles (Staff Gauge)
8. Acting as a communication and complaints center of the Drainage and Sewerage Department
9. Setting up guidelines for the preparation of drainage information technology and the Information Technology Master Plan of the Drainage and Sewerage Department
10. Perform other related duties or assigned.

2. Information Section
1. Study, analyze, design, implement systems and develop programs.
2. Organize framework and directions for a master plan of information technology.
3. Prepare and develop Management information systems (MIS), Geographic Information System (GIS) and data transmission systems including data collection, preparation of reports for supervisors
4. Develop, improve, control and maintain information system for water management and the website of Drainage and Sewerage Department
5. Create operational plan to prevent and resolve flood problems in Bangkok
6. Provide knowledge and provide information services to people or related agencies
7. Perform other relevant duties or assigned

3. Data Analysis Section
1. Process and present the necessary information to support executives decisions in Bangkok water management
2. Apply mathematical models to analyze hydraulic behavior for the planning of flood protection and mitigation as well as flood warning
3. Analyze data, collect statistics and summarize problems and suggest solution for flood mitigation to the executives and related agencies
4. Prepare a report on Bangkok flood prevention and resolution.
5. Perform other related duties or assigned.

4. Telemetry System Section
1. Planning, exploring, designing and developing telemetry technology. Data measurement, Meteorological - Hydrology
2. Planning, surveying, designing, installation of the telemetry network station
3. Inspection and maintenance the weather radar system and computer networks of the Drainage and Sewerage Department
4. Inspection and maintenance the level of evidence pins and water level poles (Staff Gauge)
5. Inspect the operation of the Meteorological - Hydrological monitoring system
6. Perform other related duties or assigned

5. Flood Prevention System Control Center
1. Control the operation of Bangkok weather radar
2. Supervise and provide knowledge on the Bangkok Water Management Center in accordance with the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej to visitor.
3. To be the center for radio communication in specific groups of the Drainage and Sewerage Department
4. To be the center for complaints Coordinate and follow up on complaints of the Department of Drainage
5. To be as a flood warning center and report weather conditions for executives , field officials, staffs as well as the general publics
6. Prepare and report situations, edit news column, deliver news reports to executives and disseminate through various media
7. Perform other related duties or assigned
